FlashCode requires Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.
FlashCode is an Objective-C implementation of a Flash player, written from scratch. It opens any SWF files, like the regular Adobe Flash plugin, and analyze its content. Instead of drawing elements of the SWF file, it generates Objective-C class files, that one can use in their Mac and iOS projects.
No, FlashCode totally ignores ActionScript! Indeed, this is clearly not the goal of FlashCode. This software makes the use of graphics drawn and animated with Adobe Flash easy to integrate into an Objective-C project. All the code that drives the behavior of the animation should be implemented in Objective-C by de developer of the target application.
At the moment, FlashCode reads almost all SWF files. That being said, it currently lacks support of shape morphing. This feature will be implemented later, and will be made available in a free update.
